RNG Joins Subsoil Use Forum in Russia’s Far East

The Company’s employees took part in the 2nd Far Eastern Subsoil Use Forum, held in Yakutsk to mark the 25th anniversary of the Far Eastern Federal District.

The event brought together major players in the resource sector, government officials, scientists, and non-profit organisations to explore the future of mineral development in the region.

RNG Supports Ekologiya—Delo Kazhdogo Youth Environmental Award

RNG has once again pledged its support for Ekologiya—Delo Kazhdogo (Russian for Environment is Everybody's Business), a creative competition that invites children and young people from Russia and around the world to submit original work focused on protecting nature and wildlife, established by the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Management. This time, the Company has sponsored its sixth season.

RNG Opens New Staff Accommodation Facilities in Yakutia

The Company has opened two new dorms in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), offering modern living conditions for up to 200 employees working on rotation at the company’s oil and gas sites. The two-storey residential buildings are located at the Yuzhno-Syuldyukarsky licensed site and at the main operations base serving the Eastern blocks of Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field. Employees have already moved into the new facilities.

RNG Employees Participate in Lavka Radostey Charity Event

The company's office now features a special box called DobroYashchyk (Russian for A Box of Kindness), and people have been eagerly coming in to donate clothes and shoes to charity.

The box was courtesy of Lavka Radostey (Russian for Joystore), a Russian charity established in 2018. It seeks to help people in need, promoting kindness all across Russia. The organisation is dedicated to supporting orphans, elderly people, large and low-income families, and those affected by natural disasters and crises.

RNG Passes Environmental Compliance Audit

RNG has successfully passed a full compliance audit confirming it meets all Russian environmental regulations and retains its licence to handle hazardous waste.

Following both a document review and on-site inspection, the company confirmed its continued authorisation to collect, transport, process, neutralise, and dispose of waste classified as hazard classes I to IV under Russian law.

RNG Backs Wildlife Reserve in Yakutia in Mirny

RNG has donated three tonnes of frozen pollock to support an animal shelter in Mirny, located in Russia’s Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

In a further show of support for local conservation efforts, the Company also plans to supply three tonnes of diesel fuel to the Zhivye Almazy Yakutii (Russian for Yakutia’s Living Rough Diamonds) nature park.

Both the shelter and park praised RNG for its its continued support and care for animals.

RNG to Boost Mobile Coverage in Tas-Yuryakh

RNG has partnered with the local administration of the Botuobuinsky Nasleg in Yakutia to help improve mobile signal and internet access in the remote village of Tas-Yuryakh.

The move comes in response to a request from the head of the nasleg, a small agricultural community in Yakutia. He highlighted poor mobile connectivity as one of the community’s most pressing challenges.

Student Quest Held in Yakutia with Support from RNG

The Company helped the Regional Technical College in Mirny (Republic of Sakha, Yakutia) host Professional Idushiy (Russian for The Professional in Motion), a city-wide student quest. The event marked the start of a series of activities celebrating the anniversary of the Russian system of secondary vocational education, with the college becoming the first in the republic to launch the campaign.

Yakutsk held the 4th International Bibliographic Congress, focused on the role of bibliography in preserving cultural heritage and linguistic diversity, which brought together over 900 delegates from 16 countries and 85 Russian regions.

RNG representatives joined roundtable discussions and expert panels throughout the multi-day forum.
