RNG supports National boxing tournament in Yakutia

RNG acted as a partner of the prestigious Russian National Men’s Boxing Tournament held in memory of A.I. Fedotov, President of the Boxing Federation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The event took place in the city of Mirny, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of Mirninsky District and the 70th anniversary of Mirny itself.

RNG Employee Wins Silver in Parachuting Competition

Mirninsky District of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) hosted a precision landing parachuting competition. Among the standout participants was Aleksandr Menshov, Deputy Chairperson of Phoenix, a parachute club, and an RNG employee. Not only did he organise the event, but also soared to second place in the individual sports parachutist category.

RNG Congratulates Tas-Yuryakh High School Alumni

The Company visited the village of Tas-Yuryakh in Yakutia’s Mirninsky District and gave valuable and useful presents to the alumni of the local school, Secondary General School No. 9 named after R.V. Lonkunov. Five students got their secondary education this year.

There was a grand event held in honour of the alumni. An RNG representative delivered a congratulatory speech and gave each student an HONOR tablet.

RNG Ecologists Release Some 800,000 Pelad Fry into Yakutia’s Vilyuiskoye Reservoir

The Company is continuing to pursue artificial reproduction of aquatic bioresources. RNG Ecologists have released about 800,000 pelad fry into the Vilyuiskoye Water Reservoir in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Pelad is also called northern whitefish; it is a valuable genus of the salmon family. The company has outdone itself this year, beating last year’s record by more than four times.

RNG Sponsors Off-Road Rally in Yakutia

The Company funded OFF ROAD FEST 2025, an off-road race held at a Mirny race track. The event took place on Russia Day, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Medved motor club at the same time.

There were 14 teams from Mirny and Lensk competing in three categories: off-roaders with engine capacities of up to 2 litres; up to 3 litres; and over 3 litres. The participants were supposed to speed around a three-lap course with sharp turns and an overpass, completing it in the shortest time possible.

Students of Ust-Kut Water Transport Institute Intern at RNG Snabzhenie

Practical training is conducted on the Viktoria-1, Boets, Vitimets, and Marion motor vessels owned by the Company. The Company has employed the students for the helmperson-motorist position until the close of navigation.

Seven students, who have completed their third- and fourth-year education at the Ust-Kut branch of the Siberian State University of Water Transport in Novosibirsk, intern on the vessels. The university is one of the leading educational institutions for training of navy officers and river vessel operating technicians.

RNG Confirms its A Sustainable Development Rating

The Company has received a positive assessment of its high sustainability from AK&M, a rating agency, along with other Russian companies ranked A according to the Agency’s rating scale for Russian organisations.

RNG is praised for its environmental responsibility, effective corporate governance, and a good relationship with regional authorities and the local community.

RNG Snabzhenie River Fleet Opens Its 2025 Navigation Season

Viktoriya-1, Vitimets, Morion, and  Boyets, all motor ships, and two barges have left for their first voyage on the Lena River. They are transporting technical cargo and food supplies to support RNG’s operations in Yakutia.

Typically, they start in the port of Osetrovo in the town of Ust-Kut, Irkutsk Oblast, and end in the town of Lensk, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), covering about 2,000 kilometres in total.

Each will make at least ten voyages over the navigation period, delivering technical cargo to the Company.

RNG Sponsors a School Chess and Checkers Tournament in Yakutia

The Company funded the First Open Mind Sport Championship of Mirninsky District featuring chess and checkers tournaments, all in honour of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Over 150 young athletes aged 5–18 joined the Championship from Yakutian towns of Mirny, Udachny, and Lensk, with the winners and runners-up enjoying diplomas, gift certificates, and souvenirs.

The hosts were very grateful to RNG for its help and support: the participants said the event was very well-organised.
