As part of the charitable program, RNG supports students and professors of the New Economic School (NES).
The company provides funding full and partial grants for tuition assistance. One of the important conditions for receiving financial support is high academic achievement both at entry and during the study itself. Nikita Komov, the grantee of RNG, came from the Moscow Region and graduated from the university this year under the Master of Economics program. The company made full payment for his final year of study.
“I am grateful to RNG for the opportunity to graduate from one of the country’s leading universities. It was my good fortune to study under a variety of real professionals having a huge amount of theoretical knowledge, but also, no less important, great practical experience. And sound academic background is a guarantee for successful professional journey,” commented Nikita Komov, the New Economic School graduate.
A total of 134 students graduated from NES this year, who have completed undergraduate and master programs. As part of the partnership between the company and the school, within two years 50 students had been receiving partial and full study grants. Also during this time 103 out-of-town students received grants in the amount equal to 75 to 100% of hostel living payment and two personal professorial positions were established.
In 2021, RNG partially covered the costs of NES for the new campus purchase. Currently the total area of usage is 4800 m². In the future, this will allow the university to expand educational activities and increase the number of students. By 2025, the New Economic School will be able to accept 300 more students than today.
