With the company’s financial help, Dorogy Pobedy (Russian for Roads of Victory), a festival dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the USSR’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War, will be able to host Symphonica ARTica, the symphony orchestra of the State Philharmonia of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
This is another joint project of RNG and Fabio Mastrangelo’s Musical Art Development Fund, as their partnership goes way back.
Yakutsk opened the festival with Symphonica ARTica, famous opera singers, and MarimbaMix, an orchestra of melodic percussion instruments, on 25 February. The official opening was hosted in Yakutsk’s central cultural centre called Sergelyakhskiye Ogni (Russian for Sergelyakh Lights), featuring classical pieces, arias, and war songs reinterpreted to match the new era. Fabio Mastrangelo’s performance as Principal Conductor and Festival’s Artistic Director deserves accolades as he did a jaw-dropping job.
This is not the first time RNG has come to support Symphonica ARTica and sponsor their major musical endeavours as the symphony orchestra of the State Philharmonia of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The Festival marks the 80th anniversary of the USSR’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This is one of the many events that the country has in store to celebrate the event.
“We are very grateful to RNG; they are very dedicated to arts and culture, so we would be more than happy to arrange more projects like this together. In this case, this is also about historical memory and cultural heritage, so RNG is doing a very important job by supporting Dorogy Pobedy,” said the representatives from Fabio Mastrangelo’s Musical Art Development Fund.
