The project is implemented within the framework of a long-term cooperation agreement between the company and the Fabio Mastrangelo Foundation for the Development of Musical Arts.
The first concert of the festival passed at the D. K. Sivtsev – Suorun Omolloon State Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Young composers presented a new interpretation of S. V. Rachmaninov's works performed by musicians of different generations.
The Yakutia Philharmonic audience heard the vocals and piano of both novice musicians, who passed the competitive selection for participation in the festival, and laureates of All-Russian and international competitions. The special guest of the event was Dmitry Golovnin, the soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre, the guest soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre. The performances were accompanied by the Symphonica ARTica State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Onufriev.
Two more concerts will pass on November 28 and December 11in Yakutsk within the My Rachmaninov project.
