The village of Syuldyukar in Yakutia’s Mirninsky District hosted Yhyаkh, the traditional Sakha summer festival. This year, the celebration also honoured the village’s 70th anniversary. The Company awarded special prizes to the winners of the sporting competitions.
The programme combined traditional rituals, national sports and cultural performances, offering a lively celebration of local heritage.
Guests joined the ceremonial sharing of kumis, watched the traditional blessing ritual and joined the osuokhai, the circular dance closely associated with Yhyаkh.
National sports were also a key part of the festival, with competitions in mas-wrestling, Yakut jumping events and khapsagai wrestling.
The administration of the Sadyn National Evenki Nasleg thanked RNG for its role in initiatives benefiting the Indigenous Peoples of the North.
