Financial assistance to the event was provided within the framework of a long-term cooperation agreement between the company and the Fabio Mastrangelo Foundation for the Development of Musical Arts.
The premiere of the literary and musical project was successfully held in the Gagarin Center of Culture and Modern Art. The concert program was based on two works - Petya and Wolf symphonic fairy tales by Sergey Prokofiev and History of Babar, Little Elephant by Francis Poulenc. Vladimir Koshevoy, a theatre and film actor, who became famous after playing the role of Raskolnikov in the film adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel Crime and Punishment, read unique compositions accompanied by the Symphonica ARTica State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Fabio Mastrangelo.
"We chose these works for our project for a reason. Adults and children all over the world love them because they teach us the most important values of life, such as friendship, loyalty and devotion. We thank RNG for support of our event, and Yakut spectators for their warm hospitality", noted Maestro Fabio Mastrangelo, President of the Foundation for Development of Musical Arts.
The masterpieces of academic music, Sinfonietta by Poulenc and Russian Overture by Prokofiev, were also performed for the first time on the Yakut stage this evening. In the future, it is planned to show the project in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and other major cities of Russia.
"The company regularly supports large-scale projects in the field of culture within the sponsorship activities. We have a five-year cooperation agreement with the Fabio Mastrangelo Foundation for the Development of Musical Arts. I am sure that thanks to such partnership the Yakut audience will be able to see more than one bright premiere", commented Vladimir Rakitin, General Director of RNG.
