As part of an introductory practical training, first-year Oil and Gas Engineering students from the Mirny Polytechnic Institute, a branch of North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU), toured the Company’s production facilities.
The visit gave the future oil and gas professionals an opportunity to immerse themselves in their chosen occupation. The students saw first-hand how operations at the field are organised and what the scale of its infrastructure is. The experience will help them build a better understanding of the specifics of their chosen profession and the skills they will need to develop to be in demand.
RNG regularly organises site visits and internships at its production facilities for students from universities and colleges offering relevant programmes across the region. The Company works closely with educational institutions in the Republic to support the training of qualified professionals for Yakutia’s oil and gas sector.
