The project implementation gives the opportunity to equip the object with the energy and to solve the problem with associated petroleum gas recycling. The facility is currently undergoing start-up activities and then it will be put into operation.

The construction of the first stage of the energy complex with a total capacity of 3.48 MWe began in 2021 by order of OOO SyuldyukarNefteGaz. The project design, as well as construction and installation activities were carried out by the divisions of OOO YakutStroyProekt. As part of the project implementation RNG JSC specialists monitored the deliveries, checked the quality of equipment and helped to arrange commissioning.

At the moment the assembly of the following equipment has been completed:  block-modular automated gas engine power plants, closed distribution devices, generator switchgears, transformer substation. The fuel gas system is also ready for test production.

Produced at the field associated petroleum gas (APG) will be used to generate electricity. This action will provide ecological and economic benefit. Nowadays, APG is successfully used for power generation at Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field Eastern blocks.

The transmission of electrical energy in the license area will be carried out via overhead transmission lines (OHTL-10 kV) through complete transformer substation at exploitation project sites, such as multiwall platforms, rotational camps, oil and gas treating departments.

“APG rational use is one of the main priorities of our production activities. Together with the partners, we are carrying out at once several projects in this area. We plan to continue this program implementation,” commented Vladimir Rakitin, General Director of RNG JSC.

In 2022, the company also plans to increase the capacity of the power complex from 5 to 11 MWa at the Eastern blocks of Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field.
