RNG is one of the largest employers and taxpayers of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In 2021 year, the total amount of taxes and mandatory payments, as well as payments in favor of state-owned companies, amounted to 14.5 billion rubles.

The company not only conducts full-scale production activities in the region, but also actively participates in the social and economic development of Yakutia. RNG supports cultural, environmental and educational initiatives, thereby improving the quality of life of the local population.

RNG and Russian Red Cross have reached an agreement on partnership. The company will support the projects of the all-Russian public organization to provide assistance to people affected by emergency situations. The main part of the joint activity will be implemented on the territory of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Since April 2020, medicines and personal protective equipment have been regularly supplied to the Mirny Central Republican Hospital, as part of the RNG to Physicians program. RNG is one of the largest employers and investors in Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The company is included in the list of backbone enterprises of the fuel and energy complex, compiled by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

Since 2014, investments in RNG projects in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) have amounted to more than one billion dollars. RNG has been the general partner of the tour around the cities of Russia of the St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theater of Boris Eifman (with the world-famous performance “On the Other Side of Sin”, based on the novel “The Brothers Karamazov” by Fedor Dostoevsky).

More than 4500 spectators has watched the performance in Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen and Perm. The plans for joint cooperation include the organization of tours of the theater in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

JSC RNG financed the construction of 10 km of a modern road on the A-331 Vilyuy highway. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the project was completed on time. Yakut journalists inspected a section of the road connecting the cities of Mirny and Lensk.

RNG is one of the leading oil and gas producers in the Far Eastern Federal District. The company is included in the list of backbone enterprises of the fuel and energy complex compiled by the Russian Ministry of Energy.
