The partnership between RNG and NES will continue

14.10.2021

The management has decided to extend support to the New Economic School (NES) for the academic year 2021/22.

The charity programme started in September 2020 includes tuition grants, a programme for regional students, and the establishment of two named professorial positions.

For the academic year 2021/22, the named professorial positions of NES Professors of Economics Gerhard Teves and Marta Troia Martinez have been extended. This will allow them to continue both their research and teaching activities in full.

Vladimir Rakitin, CEO of RNG, commented: “NES is one of the leading economic universities in the country. The school trains highly qualified specialists, brings renowned academics to Russia, and makes a significant contribution to the development of economic education. Our cooperation within the framework of the charity programme of RNG will continue”.

Last academic year, RNG provided 41 students with dormitory accommodation and 27 students received tuition fee grants.

The Charity Programme for the academic year 2021-2022 will enable gifted master’s and applied programmes students from different regions of the country to study at a leading university of economics. These will be full and partial grants, providing tuition discounts ranging from 10% to 100%. Non-resident students will be given grants of 75 to 100 per cent for hostel accommodation. Thus, all regional students will be included in the support programme.

Ruben Enikolopov, Rector of the New Economic School, noted: “In the difficult times of the pandemic, reliable partnerships and support are particularly important for the School. Our friends and partners represented by RNG, its shareholders and employees are all the more valuable.”
