RNG Supported Institute of Family Development

The company allocated 1 million rubles to conduct classes at the Foster Parents School and psychological counseling of families in Moscow.

Autonomous non-profit organization of additional professional education ‘Institute of Family Development’ has been working since 2012. Its main goal is to prevent the problems of orphanhood and to train specialists in this field. Another important area of work is the Foster Parents School. 177 people graduated from it only in 2022. Group trainings consist of 13 classes conducted by experienced teachers and trainers, specialists with long-term experience in the family placement of children.

“We are striving to ensure that every child lives in a family, and parents can receive high-quality professional help in difficult times. With the support of RNG we will be able to continue to train guardians and adoptive parents, together we will continue to work on overcoming orphanhood in the country”, noted Anastasia Evseevicheva, Director of Institute of Family Development.

“Assistance to unprotected and most vulnerable groups of population is one of the priority directions of charity activity of RNG. The company regularly supports non-profit and government organizations, charitable foundations, and actively participates in socially significant projects”, commented Vladimir Rakitin, General Director of RNG.

About 2000 people graduated from the Foster Parents School over the course of the project and there are more than 400 non-native children in these families. Another 100 families annually receive individual or group psychological counseling. Despite the fact that the groups recruitment has not yet been completed, classes are already actively underway. Applications for 2024 are tentatively expected in April, September and December of this year.
