A long-term partnership agreement was signed.
Partnership is aimed at promoting significant cultural projects in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and other regions of Russia as part of the ‘Yakutia Inspires’ programme, as well as other initiatives of the Foundation aimed at developing friendship between nations.
Foundation founder Hans-Joachim Frey commented: “Developing the cultural potential of Russian regions and establishing international cultural ties is the main mission of the foundation. I would like to thank RNG for the trust placed in us and I am sure that all the projects will be successfully implemented”.
The programme aims to unlock and support Yakutia’s cultural potential. Includes creating an environment for the development of young creative talents, cultural institutions, educational and cultural projects, as well as promoting the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and theatres of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in other regions of Russia and abroad.
“The planned cooperative projects will contribute to the further development of Yakutia’s cultural potential through the support of talented artists and collectives,” said Gennady Alferenko, a member of RNG’S Board of Directors and a member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
The founder of the fund is Hans-Joachim Frey, a cultural manager working in Austria, Germany and Russia, and artistic director of the Sirius Educational Centre in Sochi. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Art Bridge Fund is Mikhail Shvydkoy, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation. The President of the Foundation is Victor Yampolsky, Honoured Artist of Russia, pianist, head of the famous Rachmaninov Trio, promoter of international festivals and educational projects in the field of classical music.
