Since the launch of commercial production at the Eastern Blocks of the Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field (EB SB OGCF), oil production has reached the 3 million tonnes mark.
The company is improving geological exploration methods, increasing drilling efficiency, introducing digital technologies at every stage of the production chain, cooperating with the world’s leading oilfield service companies, and systematically expanding production capacity.
“RNG is focused on active development. The introduction of new technologies and training on how to operate them effectively has significantly reduced the cost of developing hard-to-recover reserves. All production achievements are made possible first and foremost by the efforts of our highly professional team. One of the company’s key focuses in the long term will be managing its operations on the basis of ESG principles,” commented Vladimir Rakitin, CEO of RNG.
As well as successfully tackling production challenges, RNG constantly improves its environmental and industrial safety programmes and implements a wide range of social and cultural initiatives.
Investment in RNG projects in Yakutia has amounted to more than one billion dollars since 2014. The company remains a priority to continue its active involvement in the economic and social development of the region.
