RNG donated equipment for a mobile vaccination point to the Mirny hospital

The company continues to implement the RNG to Medics program.

As a part of the program, RNG has regularly supplied the hospital with medicines, personal protective equipment and other medical equipment since April 2020. Since the start of the program, the company has donated bedside monitors, a mobile box for transporting patients, protective suits, artificial lung ventilators, ultraviolet irradiators, equipment for plasma defrosting a mobile vaccination point started its work today.

Vladimir Rakitin, CEO of RNG, said: “Since the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak in Yakutia, the company has been assisting the local healthcare system. The most valuable thing is human life and health, and the welfare of employees is the company’s priority. RNG was among the first to help the Mirny Central District Hospital and continues to do so regularly”.

“Thanks to RNG’s support, we now have all the equipment needed to organise a mobile vaccination point at any time of year and anywhere – these include portable tables, chairs, screens, an air recirculation device and, most importantly, a convenient transport refrigerator to store and transport vaccines. We are very grateful to the management and staff of RNG for their help in organizing the mobile vaccination point. It is thanks to such strong support that our healthcare system continues to successfully fight the spread of the new coronavirus infection,” commented Tatiana Struchkova, chief medical officer of Mirny Central District Hospital.

In 2020, the RNG to Medics project won first prize in the Social and Environmental Initiative nomination at the republican stage of the Nationwide MediaTEK Award.
