RNG contributes to improving the living conditions of NES students

16.04.2021

As part of its partnership with the New Economic School (NES), the company sponsors the accommodation of students in the dormitory.

The charitable program of RNG to support the NES was launched in September 2020. An important area of cooperation was the creation of two named teaching positions. Professors from the country’s leading economic university were given the opportunity to continue their research activities and make a significant contribution to the development of Russian and world economic science.

The program also includes grants for gifted students from different regions of the country to study at the NES. In addition, the company partially covers the accommodation expenses of non-resident students. So, in the current academic year, 20% of students participating in the program already live in the dormitory for free, and the rest – with a 50% discount.

Vladimir Rakitin, General Director of RNG, noted: “NES has a significant place in the global academic environment — it creates a community of economists who represent Russia with dignity. We joined the great and useful work. NES students need not only an effective curriculum, but also comfortable accommodations in order to gain knowledge.”

At the beginning of the current academic year, students of the NES moved to a new and more comfortable dormitory on the basis of the hotel complex “Hotel Voyage Park”, 10 kilometers from the campus. The rooms offer two-and three-person accommodation, with kitchens, classrooms, recreation rooms, a mini gym and laundry, and free Internet access.

NES Rector Ruben Enikolopov noted: “Creating an environment, in which one doesn’t have to think about financial issues, is important for both professors and students. Covering accommodation expenses is a significant measure of support from our partners, RNG, and an important contribution to enabling students to devote as much time as possible to their studies without worrying about everyday problems.”
