The application process will start on 5 March. One hundred best teachers will each receive awards of 100,000 roubles. In December, the company signed an agreement on cooperation with the Trust Fund for Future Generations of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and allocated financial resources to pay prizes and hold an event to mark the 100th anniversary of the Yakutia ASSR.
Teachers with at least five years’ experience of delivering basic general education and further education programmes, including those leading mentoring programmes, will be eligible to take part in the competition.
“The Republic has always paid great attention to the professional training of teachers. All conditions are created to improve their qualifications, initiatives and undertakings are supported. I would like to point out that socially responsible business regularly helps us in developing human resources potential in the region,” said Head of Yakutia Aysen Nikolayev.
Prizes in the amount of 100,000 roubles will be awarded to teachers who have made a significant contribution to the development of the republic’s education system. The Commission will take into account the rate at which students master the curricula, the use of modern educational technologies in the lessons, the use of distance teaching format, and the results of students’ participation in events at various levels.
“The competition provides equal opportunities for teachers to participate. We thank RNG for their cooperation and support of our teachers,” stressed Vladimir Egorov, General Director of the non-profit organisation Trust Fund for Future Generations of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
RNG regularly supports educational projects and provides material, technical and advisory assistance to the republic’s educational institutions.
“RNG long-term development strategy involves tackling complex and unconventional challenges. One of the main success factors will always be the human factor. To this end, we actively cooperate with schools and universities, support significant educational projects, implement programmes to support young specialists, and develop the talent pool. We believe that investing in people is the most highly effective investment,” commented Vladimir Rakitin, RNG’s CEO.
The results of the competition will be announced in April of this year.
