As part of a cooperation agreement with the All-Russian public organization “Russian Red Cross” the Company has provided funds for the purchase of essential goods and medicines for residents of affected areas.
Large-scale natural fires began in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on May 7. The fire destroyed 618 residential buildings and 309 other constructions in 13 municipalities of the region.
“Over 1,000 people are left without a roof over their heads as a result of the fires. For the first time they need the most necessary things – bedding, hygiene products, medicines. Thanks to cooperation with RNG JSC we can quickly provide these people with real help,“ said Chairman of the Russian Red Cross Pavel Savchuk.
“In partnership between RNG JSC and Russian Red Cross allocated funds will be sent for the purchasing of medicines, essential goods for fire victims and organizing the delivery of humanitarian cargo to the Krasnoyarsk Territory,“ commented General Director of RNG JSC Vladimir Rakitin.
The company supports a number of significant projects of the Russian Red Cross. Among the important initiatives are formation and training of emergency response teams in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), as well as creation of a warehouse stocked with essentials in Yakutsk.
