Boris Eifman thanks RNG for the support of the tour of the theatre

The tour of the St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre of Boris Eifman with the world famous performance “Beyond Sin”, based on the novel “The Brothers Karamazov” by F. M. Dostoyevsky, through the cities of the Ural Federal District and the Perm Region has successfully completed.

Over 4,500 people attended the performances in Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen and Perm.

Stanislav Lyubshin, Advisor to the CEO of RNG on Development of Cultural Projects, People’s Artist of the RSFSR said: “I would like to congratulate the spectators on the successful tour of the unique theatre in their cities. Boris Eifman is an outstanding choreographer, one of the leaders in this latest trend, the man who has opened to the world how complex, different and great contemporary ballet can be”.

As part of its sponsorship activities, the company regularly supports large-scale cultural projects. Plans for joint cooperation include organising a tour of the theatre to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The tour took place as part of the Grand Touring programme, organised by the Federal directorate of performing arts ROSCONCERT on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
