Applause fills the hall, smiles light up the room, and the awards are richly deserved. In Yakutsk, RNG is honouring teachers from across the republic as winners of the education competition it funds. The atmosphere in the hall is warm and celebratory, with families and colleagues genuinely sharing in the winners’ joy. After months of preparation and a tough selection process, the laureates take the stage to receive the recognition they have earned.

RNG has long worked in partnership with the town of Mirny and Mirninsky District in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) on a range of social, economic and infrastructure initiatives.

RNG has introduced dyed diesel across all of its operations in Yakutia. Every litre of fuel used to power the company’s vehicles and facilities is now tinted red, making it instantly identifiable.

The Company rolled out the measure in January, adding a special dye to its fuel supplies to minimise the risk of misuse or theft. The colouring agent is blended into the diesel at fuel storage facilities according to a controlled specification.

On 24 February, applications opened for the annual education award for teachers across the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), an initiative launched and backed by RNG as General Partner.

RNG placed tenth in the Energy and Natural Resources Extraction sector among mid-sized companies. The result marks an improvement on last year’s performance, with the Company moving up two positions in its category.

Starting from January this year, the marking of diesel fuel with a dye has become mandatory for all production facilities and equipment of RNG. Corporate vehicles have been switched to diesel fuel with a red marker.
