RNG has allocated funds to pay for the food and accommodation of the students and teachers of the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts (ASICA), so that they can take part in an International Festival.

The “Your Chance | GITIS fest” International Student Festival of Graduation Performances is underway in Moscow from April 15 to April 30. Graduates from Russian, Indian, Serbian, and Chinese drama schools will present their plays during that time. The viewers will see a total of 23 different plays.

This cooperation will allow the teachers of the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts to take advanced training courses at the country’s leading theatrical arts school in April.

The project provides for training in several programmes: Acting, Set Design, and Ballet Master Art. For a week, the best masters of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) will give lectures and practical classes to Yakut teachers.

The company sponsored three concerts in Yakutsk hosted by the Musical Art Development Fund, an organisation that RNG has a long-standing relationship with. Over two million people got to watch the musicians perform live, both online and offline. The stage was shared by younger and older musicians alike, reinterpreting Sergei Rachmaninoff’s pieces and putting a unique spin on his music.

The company’s financial aid is targeted at the non-profit’s Adoptive Parent School classes. The Institute for the Development of Family Adoption is an institution with a clear-cut goal to help orphaned children and facilitate their adjustment to their new homes and families. The Institute was founded by Lyudmila Petranovskaya, a famous Russian psychologist.

The company sponsored its first students in 2020, partially and fully covering from 5% to 100% of the master’s degree tuition fee at one of the best economic universities in Russia. To get a grant to study for a master’s degree, a student is supposed to excel academically, both before and during their time at the university.

The region’s top teachers and professors got short-listed for the educational award of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), hosted by the Ministry of Education and Science, RNG, and the Trust Fund for Future Generations of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). They gave out bonuses to the top educators, and the 100 best teachers and professors got 100 thousand roubles each. See more on Yakutia 24.

RNG’s financial support helps build a bridge between Yakutia’s Ministry of Culture and Spiritual Development and GITIS, Moscow-based Russian Institute of Theatre Arts.

The students at the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts get to work closely with Evgenia Tikidzhi-Khamburyan and Vasilisa Kutuzova, GITIS graduates. Together, they will put on a production called Zhalost (Russian for Pity) that will count as part of their thesis. Juniors and seniors will star in the production and share the stage with their professors.

The company donated a large modern children’s playground to Mirny. The multifunctional space was built in a short time and it consults the interests of children of different ages. There is a game complex, sandboxes, sports equipment, swings on an area of almost two thousand square meters; a site has special rubberized coating.

The company will allocate funds to the institution for the purchase of school and sports uniforms and shoes. All children and teenagers living in the orphanage are in a difficult life situation. They deal with professional teachers in the center and have all necessary conditions for proper rest.

The specialists released into the Aannyaah River, the tributary of the Vilyui reservoir, more than 1 million of juvenile salmonids. Fingerlings of whitefish species are specially grown in laboratory conditions at the Chernyshevsky Fish Hatchery State Unitary Enterprise by order of RNG.
