RNG has once again pledged its support for Ekologiya—Delo Kazhdogo (Russian for Environment is Everybody’s Business), a creative competition that invites children and young people from Russia and around the world to submit original work focused on protecting nature and wildlife, established by the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Management. This time, the Company has sponsored its sixth season.

RNG helped the Regional Technical College in Mirny (Yakutia) host Professional Idushiy (Russian for The Professional in Motion), a city-wide student quest. The event marked the start of a series of activities celebrating the anniversary of the Russian system of secondary vocational education, with the college becoming the first in the region to launch the campaign.

RNG has sponsored the Mirninsky District Enduro Championship called “Vostochny Sklon 2025” (Eastern Slope 2025) in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The event drew 21 competitors from towns of Mirny, Lensk, and Yakutsk.

The roar of engines, sharp turns, and the occasional fall set the tone as around twenty motorcyclists took to the wild off-road course at the Vostochny Sklon (Russian for Eastern Slope) enduro event in the town of Mirny. The race brought together local enthusiasts of two-wheeled sport, along with participants from Lensk and Yakutsk.

The Company’s fire response team joined forces with local forestry services to put out a forest fire in Mirninsky District, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Regional fire crews and RNG swiftly and effectively contained the blaze, preventing it from spreading further.

Mirninsky District of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) hosted a precision landing parachuting competition. Among the standout participants was Aleksandr Menshov, an RNG employee and Deputy Chairperson of Phoenix, a parachute club. Not only did he organise the event, but also soared to second place in the individual sports parachutist category.

RNG ecologists have released some 800,000 pelad (whitefish) fry into Yakutia’s Vilyuiskoye Reservoir. Only few fish die, experts say. It will take three years for them to bear the first offspring. This will restore the populations of valuable fish species in Yakutia.

The Company stocks the region’s water bodies every year to pursue artificial reproduction of its aquatic bioresources.
