At the request of residents of the village of Syldyukar, the companies SyldyukarNefteGas and RNG, both members of EastSib Holding, began delivering crushed stone in order to strengthen the soil around a local school building. Every spring as a result of snow melting the area is flooded.
The situation is complicated by the lack of a year-round road traffic to and from the village. Cargo can be delivered only by winter road, which can be used only at temperatures below zero. Despite this factor, the first shipment of crushed stone was delivered to the village on April 15. The employees of SyldyukarNefteGas and RNG have already started the works on site leveling and building of the water disposal system. Delivery of crushed stone will continue in the near future.
The village of Syldyukar is the capital of the Sadynsky national Evenki manganese, the only place in Mirny district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) where small indigenous peoples of the Far North live. The population is 380 people.
