In the reporting year, the company paid 14.5 billion roubles in taxes and mandatory payments, as well as payments to state-owned companies. This figure is twice as much as in 2020.
RNG JSC has been carrying out full-scale production activities in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for several years, being one of the largest employers and taxpayers in the region. The key area of investment is the development and commercial operation of the eastern blocks of the Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field (SB OGCF), as well as exploration and development of neighbouring licence areas.
Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aysen Nikolayev noted: “The share of revenues from hydrocarbon production and processing in the republic’s budget has been growing over the past few years. RNG JSC is one of the leading companies in this sector. Over these years the company has managed to do a lot to improve the quality of life of yakutians. By the end of 2021, it has transferred 14.5 billion rubles to the budgets of all levels and off-budget funds in the form of taxes and mandatory payments, as well as payments to state-owned companies”.
In 2021, RNG JSC not only retained a high level of financial stability, but also showed stable development. The company is successfully implementing large-scale oil and gas production projects, using innovative technologies and advanced equipment, helping to preserve the natural environment and improve the quality of life of local communities. To achieve its objectives, the company purchases materials and equipment from Russian suppliers for at least 4 billion roubles annually. Since 2015, the total volume of purchases amounted to 28.2 billion roubles.
