In October 2016, an agreement was reached between RNG and JSC Far East Energy Management Company (JSC FEEMC) with the view to cooperation in implementation of investment projects in the western part of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic.
The agreement provides for cooperation between RNG and JSC FEEMC in evaluation and implementation of investment projects which involve construction of the power station with an installed capacity from 200 to 400 MW, with the use of associated petroleum gas as fuel, produced in the process of hydrocarbon production of RNG within the area of the Eastern Blocks of Srednebotuobinskoe oil and gas condensate field, as well as the relevant electrical grid infrastructure in the western part of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic power system for supply of the electric power and capacity generated at the power station to the united power system.
