RNG pays great attention to indigenous minorities of the North, and contributes to preserving their national cultures, supports upgrading public services and amenities in Tas-Yuryakh, and helps disadvantaged groups, such as parents raising children with disabilities, low-income people, and large families.
RNG is an active participant of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Botuobinsky Nasleg Municipality in 2017-2021.
Under agreements for socio-economic cooperation with the administration for the Mirny District Municipality and Botuobinsky Nasleg, backfilling of the central street and square in the village of Tas-Yuryakh was completed.
RNG provides treated water to Tas-Yuryakh publicly funded institutions on a free-of-charge basis.
Inauguration of the Druzhba (Friendship) bridge was held on June 6, 2017. This bridge crosses the Taas-Yurekh River, and connects the Viluy Federal Highway with the license area of SB OGCF Eastern Blocks. The bridge was built in 2016-2017. RNG, together with VostSibSpetsMontazh LLC, completed the entire scope of construction and assembly work using in-house resources.
In September 2017, RNG supplied over 150 tons of oil to the village of Suntar to provide heating fort 45 socially significant facilities during the winter season.
The fuel was supplied upon request from the village administration. While other oil and gas companies refused to help, RNG employees quickly responded, and agreed to deliver the fuel themselves, working in extremely harsh weather conditions.
In 2017, RNG responded to a request of Mirny District Administration and completed paving area around a kindergarten in Tas-Yuryakh Village with top-grade crushed stone.
In addition, construction of a landfill for solid household and industrial waste landfill is in progress; the landfill is also expected to be used to dispose of waste products from Tas-Yuryakh village.
